ChatBotCV
About

An honest answer, or none at all.

A CV is a static page. A recruiter either reads between the lines or fires off an email to fill the gaps. ChatBotCV turns a CV into something you can question directly — and it's built so the answers stay grounded strictly in what the candidate wrote.

Why it exists

Hiring runs on guesswork. A résumé compresses years of work into a page, and everyone on the other side has to interpolate — inferring seniority from a title, a skill from a project, a gap from two dates. ChatBotCV closes that gap the direct way: let recruiters ask, and answer them from the CV itself instead of leaving them to guess.

The honesty guarantee

An AI that will confidently invent a job, a title, or a skill is worse than no AI at all — a plausible fabrication about someone's career does real damage. So the whole thing is engineered around one constraint: never say anything the CV doesn't. In practice that means:

These aren't aspirations — they're written rules the assistant runs under, and they're red-teamed against an adversarial test set before changes ship.

Nothing invented

Answers are grounded strictly in the uploaded content, never embellished or inferred.

Candidate in control

The owner can rename, replace, or delete their document — and its public link — at any time.

Every grounded answer points back to where in the CV the fact came from.

Who's building it

ChatBotCV is a Spencer Stern project — a small, independent effort rather than a big platform. It's deliberately narrow: do one thing, answering questions about a CV, and do it honestly. Feedback and questions are welcome.

Your data

The short version: we store only what a candidate uploads, use it only to run their chatbot, and let them delete it whenever they like. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what's stored and why.
